As usual this restaurant is 2nd to none !! Celebrated our 45h anniversary last night The service is on par with the best service in the restaurant industry Not sure why but they certainly do deserve a Michelin star, maybe next go around!! Well done again and thanks to the entire staff at Flagstaff!!!!

It's an insult that they don't have a Michelin star. They are fully deserving for food, service, destination, attention to detail and presentation. What else do you need to know. Stop what you are doing and make a reservation right now. Outside seating is incredible. Special recommendation - they have a special cocktail - something like smokehouse- knocked my socks off. Captured smoke presentation with fire water so Smokey spicy and spectacular. Testing menu is great but the standard 3 course is amazing and reasonable. Dinner for two with cocktails around $400 with tip.

A very fancy and high end restaurant, they also nailed every dish. It was a great experience for a special occasion, and we felt well cared for by the staff. The food was clean and had a unique blend of flavors and textures that I really enjoyed. I would highly recommend coming to Flagstaff House for a special time!

This was the first ever prix fixe menu i'd had a few years ago so it was a delight to finally come back. The service here is incredible, they truly go above and beyond which makes for a very special night along with the view. The little bites like the amuse bouches and palate cleansers that they gave us were delicious. We also added on the Scottish Smoked Salmon to start which was very good. The Alaskan Halibut was cooked perfectly, it was juicy and flaked apart nicely. The olives also added such a great flavor to it. My boyfriend's main course was the Texas Venison which he really loved. The dessert that I chose was the Mulberry pain perdu, i had never had mulberries before and they were delicious. Thank you Flagstaff House for such a wonderful evening!

Wow !! So great. The location - fantastic! Terrific views and from a variety of locations in the restaurant. The service was outstanding- from valet, to host, to servers and staff- great friendly team work. The food- scared a bit from a couple of detailed disappointing customer reviews, but we did not have that experience at all. You have 2 options -4 course option or chef's tasting menu. It is definitely pricey but well worth the experience. The quality of the food was outstanding, the presentation was art, the quantity overall was more than enough. It was an excellent experience and would rate it nothing less than 5 . Please check out the photos! They also gave plenty of other treats not part of the menu. Can't wait to return!!!

Near perfect score thwarted by grains of rice. Obviously the view is spectacular. Arriving for an early dinner, we were able to see the city of Boulder transition into nighttime with a near full-mooning as backdrop. Gorgeous. The service from start to finish was impeccable, which is what you expect from a restaurant like this. Waters always filled, clean napkins, foods presented in unison with staff knowledgeable about each meal and ingredient. Our meals and drinks were delicious, with one medium-sized exception, which I'll get to in a minute. The five of us decided to go with the four course dinner. Each dish was presented beautifully, each offered a progression of flavors that was well suited for the meal as a whole. My favorite was the lobster with risotto. Oftentimes this dish can be too heavy and dense, but all the ingredients were proportioned in such a way that the dish was light and flavorful. My main dish was where I met disappointment. I ordered the A5 Wagyu supplement, which came with sticky rice and lightly dusted with furikake. The Asian bent of the dish really intrigued me and I was looking forward to experiencing the flavoring of the meat "bleeding over" to the rice. Sigh. That mark was missed, by yards. The dish was beautifully presented. There was a ring of the medium rare wagyu atop a ring of rice dusted with the furikake. The rice however was cold and coarse, undercooked even. When rice is undercooked it's crumbly and chalky. That's what I experienced with every bite of the rice. I was hoping for warm, sticky, glutinous goodness but instead encountered something entirely unexpected and unwelcome. Again the meal here was fantastic. I really appreciated the rest of the meal and service. However, when you're paying $88 additional dollars for a Wagyu supplement, you should expect perfection.

Wanted to take my best friend of 30 years to a nice dinner while visiting. Couldn't ask for better views! Stunning views and Michelin level fine dining. They have complimentary valet parking. They will take your coat at the door if you like. Absolutely make a reservation. Our meal was delicious and no matter what you order, it's going to be incredible. They even cater to vegetarians. I would love to return in the winter when there's snow!

Holy moly. What a life changing dining experience! We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and what a celebration it was. The staff here is thoughtful, attentive and simply on point. Sheila our server was a delight and knowledgeable about the menu. We drove up, they have complimentary valet, and walked to the host stand where they knew who we were and were ready to seat us and we were also greeted with a happy anniversary! The view is stunning which adds to the entire experience! We did the regular tasting menu and were blown away by the taste and presentation. Such a sweet and thoughtful touch here - they customized the menu for us and wrote us a message! I mean., how incredible. And then they got the valet staff to place the menu in the car for us! I'm generally not a gal that's into the tiny little pieces of food and always feel like I'm going to leave hungry. Not at flagstaff! We were STUFFED. The house made bread of the week was delicious (it was an herby garlicky roll) and the starters, amuse bouche, entrees were incredible. The smoked salmon canapé was delicious although in hindsight we didn't need it because there was so much food. 1st course : pate and crudo. The pate offered a sweet and savory combo but wasn't my favorite. 2nd course: quail and blackfish - delicious! 3rd course: filet and lamb rack - both a must if you eat meat. Perfectly cooked to medium rare and accompanied by a tasty sauce. I loved the little twice baked potatoes that were served with the steak. 4th course : dessert we had to pack to take home because we were stuffed. They sent us home with some homemade little candies/ macaroons and some zucchini bread. Taste was not a favorite but the thought and service, again, was incredible. You're coming here for an experience, annnnd that experience will prob last 2+ hours so plan accordingly! The staff seems well trained - they pace out the dishes and keep a close eye on those dining. Also, when you go to the bathroom, they move out of the way, stop conversation and make you feel like you're the president or something. It cracked us up because we weren't used to such incredible service but it made everything that much more special. Also loved that they had some light music in the background - indie ish music that was not pretentious and felt totally relatable which helped with the ambiance. Thanks to the crew for making it such a special anniversary dinner and thank you Sheila!! If you have a special occasion to celebrate and want it to be memorable, flagstaff is your spot.
